How long after you weaned did your breasts become the size they were going to stay?

When my daughter turns one, I am going to start weaning her with the goal of her being completely on cow's milk within a few weeks (she is a biter!)

I have a 27 month old and the almost 1 year old, so I have literally been wearing nursing/maternity bras for nearly 3 years now.  I can't wait to buy some cute new bras, but I want to make sure I do wait until I am at a size I am going to stay at. About how long after you weaned were your breasts at their "normal" size?

    I'm not sure. Mine kept shrinking and deflating untill there was nothing left. Then I got pregnant again and they inflated.

    Nursed for the last time on her first birthday (Nov. 9) and am still wishing for my C cups back. I am a D now, but have been stuck there since about early December (was a DD when nursing/weaning).

    I don't think mine shrunk at all.  I had big bewbies before and they're just as huge now as they were when I BF.  I'd say give it a few weeks or a month, get properly sized by someone, buy one cute bra and then go from there.

    Mine were pretty close to my new normal by 1 year with both girls, but I nursed both past 1 (am still nursing DD2).

    It took me almost two months to go back down to a C cup... but my band size never went back to pre pregnancy. Most people say to wait four to six weeks.

    After 12 months DD was down to 2 sessions only and they were actually smaller than they were pre-pregnancy (for someone who started a DD that's a good thing!) I was still nursing those 2 sessions when I got pregnant again, so no idea if they would have gotten smaller or what.

    I'm still waiting.  Pre-pregnancy, I was a large C cup.  When I was nursing/pumping, I was a double D.  After about a month, I was in a D.  I'm 5 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight, so maybe if I lost that I'd be back in pre-pregnancy bras, but I sort of doubt it.  I would really, really like to have smaller boobs.

    They haven't gone back completely, 1 yr later, and I'm 15lbs under pre-pg weight. I was a 36D before pg; was up to a 38DDD/F or G (depending on brand) during nursing, and am back down to only a 36DD. And will be seeking a reduction once we're certain we're done with kids....

    I was back to my old bras about 2 weeks after weaning completely but I'm positive I need to go get new ones because these just don't fit the same. Unfortunately I think the cups are too big now. Crying I deflated big time and can't figure out where everything went.

    I am bfing again but mine never went back down. They remained exactly the same. But I was only weaned for 3 months before I got pregnant again.

    Same here! Seems like smaller-chested women (pre-preg) are more likely to be even smaller post-BFing. What's up with THAT?

    Two weeks after weaning I was back to my 32AA bras. :( I was hoping to at least keep it in the A range!
