If you are having/had maternity photos done, show me your clothes!

I'm trying to come up with some outfits that will photograph well and the one dress I had in mind, I saw a picture of myself in the other day and thought it photographed really badly (or maybe it was just me in it!) I'm a fan of color and texture for photos, but I'm just not seeing anything I love out there for sale.

    I just wore a black tube top and black maternity pants. My DH and son both wore white shirts and black pants. Sorry I don't have them on to access. But I knew simpler was better b/c I wanted black and white photos.

    I just did a plain grey shirt, I like more simple stuff though. Here are a few!

    I love color too! I'm going to wear two cuter dresses and then do some in the basic white tshirt and jeans. They are two of my favorite dresses, from my college graduation and my 21st birthday and they still somehow fit my huge belly. :)

    I'm not sold on it, but this is what I've been planning to wear, except probably with some nude wedge sandals. I just wish the dress fit a little more snugly in places other than my bump. Maybe by next week, it will. Right now, it feels a little sloppy.

    The dress is from Loft maternity, and the sweater is Halogen brand from Nordstrom.

    I notice you are in So-Cal. Check out this link:

    It will give you great ideas for simple scarfs and wraps to use that look very flattering in photos. I do not work for this photographer or anything like that, so I am not trying to advertise for her... but I did have a great experience with her and have some priceless photos from the shoot I did. She is also in So-cal if you decide you want professional photos.
