Breaking the news!!!

Today I had my 2nd u/s and ended up breaking the news to everyone! When did YOU tell? Have you told? How did you tell?

    Hi! Congratulations!

    Believe it or not I ended up telling people at my work first! I know it is crazy but I spend more time with them than anyone else and I was (and still am) feeling nauseated all the time. My boyfriend and I told our parents and siblings after our 1st appointment and hearing the heartbeat.

    This was not a planned pregnancy for us so its a suprise to everyone. :)

    Congrats on the 2nd u/s!!!

    The big sis shirt is such a cute idea! We're basically doing the same thing as you. It's still early so only close family knows. Everyone else will find out after the first trimester is over. I think I'm going to post the ultrasound pic on facebook.

    AWW thats awesome :) CONGRATS!! I unfortunately don't have fb anymore, long story but deleted it due to drama UGH...I'm too old for that crud!! lol I wish I did have it though because I have friends all over the place, across canada and the states and I just want to shout it out to everyone!! My mom knows and a couple of my BFF's and hubby's sis knows but we haven't told his parents yet because his brother dropped the bomb on them last month about them having a baby lol so we wanted to give it time sotospeak, and also to have our own moment :) I'm dyinn to tell them though!!

    I told a couple of close friends & family as soon as I found out.  We planned to make it public knowledge after our first u/s, which was scheduled for 9 weeks.  I know it's safer to wait until the first trimester is over, but I didn't think we could wait that long. Unfortunately, I had some complications and they put me on bed rest at 7 weeks. As soon as I let my office know I would be out, I got a million and 1 questions by text and e-mail.  People started guessing, so I gave in and answered honestly. We also told our parents at that point. I figured they'd want to know I was on bed rest. I think we'll tell the rest of the world once they take me off bed rest, which I'm hoping will happen at 9 weeks.
