DD's staph infection is FINALLY GONE! YAY!

So i took DD to another follow up appointment for her staph infection and it is FINALLY GONE!  HOORAY!!!!!  No surgery is needed.  Now I just hope it stays away for good and we dont get another round of it.  (If it came back, that would make the 6th round!)

    Where was her staph infection? My daughter had one on the top of her buttock and she ended up having it surgically drained just 6 short days after I first noticed the spot. It turns out her infection was actually MRSA, which the doctor said has a higher chance of recurring and is probably why it grew so quickly. I'm terrified of her having another staph infection... I freak out over every little bump and pimple now, especially if they're in the diaper region, ugh!

    WOW, that is aweful!  DD's was on her inner thigh, up high, right where the diaper goes around her leg.
