How long until uterus goes back to normal size?

Maybe it's just weight but I definitely still have a belly, I'm 7 pounds from pre pregnancy weight...but it seems like more. Just wondering what other's experiences were. I had a C Section, not sure if that makes a difference

A nurse told me that it takes a little over 2 weeks to go back to normal size (I'm sure it varies slightly from person to person). I think just about everybody has a little left over in the tummy after a baby. Your abdominal muscles get stretched out during pregnancy and with the extra skin and fat, it takes a while (some longer then others) to work off.

I went to my pp appointment Friday and my doctor examined me alnd said I'm almost shrunk but still have some to go. he said it varies from woman to woman how long it takes, especially c sections which I had one too.

I had a c-section and I was told 4-6 weeks. I'm 9 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight and looks atleast 20. I'm alittle lop sided too??!! Prolly just the way my incision was I'm guessing.

unfortunately the belly has pretty much nothing to do with your uterus now. like pp said its stretched out muscle and skin plus fat.

I had a c-section and thought I was told 4-6 weeks as well.

I am 10 weeks PP and still have about 10 pounds to go as well. I've only worked out once since being cleared and the weather hasn't been cooperating for outdoor walks.

With DS1 when I went back to OB for my 5 week check up she said that my uterus was almost back to its normal size. I don't know if that is normal but I had c/s with both of my sons. I do know that after I lost all the weight I still had a little flab I think that was from the c/s,
