Hi everyone!Hope you all are doing well! Just a quick update <: Ethan and Allison are doing wonderfully. They have been off CPAP for a few days and breathing well on their own. They are a little hesitant with the bottle but tried them both on the breast yesterday and they "knew what to do" and did very well!! We are basically what you call feeders/growers. They will be transporting them to a NICU closer to us (30 min) away as the Brigham is an hour and 1/2 away. The NICU they are being transferred to is a level 2 (brigham is a level 3). They may be doing this tomorrow!! The kids are allowed to go there because they are doing so well!! Hope to have them home in a few weeks but this will be a lot easier to not have to drive in so much!!The new pic below is them! They are really alert! She cries a ton and gets super fussy about wanting to eat. Hmm maybe because my son was "stealing a lot of her food" inside! haha They are very sweet babies. He is super laid back and she's a little feisty girl!Hugs to you all, hope the rest of your pregnancies and births go well for all of you!! I'll check in when I can and can't wait to hear your stories and see all your baby pics!! Best, Laura

hey! ive been looking for your updates! your babies are of course sweet. im so glad to hear they are doing well.
how are you doing, recovery wise? how is the experience with the NICU. my MFM's goal is 34 weeks with twins and that's what he said as well.....the "feeders and growers" basically at that gestation. it's so crazy isnt it, i remember when you get your BFP on the PAIF board!!
Hey tootle! thank you! my recovery has been ok from the c-section, unfortunately got myself run-down and ended up with a sinus cold (I'm taking a zpack and didn't see my babies today and probably not tomorrow
I didn't loose much for blood (it was the minimal) and even though c-section was emergency because of Ethan getting stuck in his cord it went off without any major issues. I'm still dealing with high BP though, basically they think I still have Pre-Clampsia, apparently it can continue!! I'm on BP meds for a bit. Peeing after having the catheter in was hard btw and keep on top of the gas meds they give you and the colace because it can get painful to your uterus if you get constipated. I have a rash from the tape they used to put the bandage over my c-section scar too, it's itchy and mad! haha It wasn't as bad as I thought though. The peeing thing was the most uncomfortable though, it's almost like I forgot how to for a day and it was really annoying!
34 weeks is awesome for twins!! I hope you make it, hope you make it even further <: Take it easy you are almost there!!!
