tornado warnings...

I live in VA almost TN and we have had horrible weather today hail..wind...rain...and tornados... I sent my son to my moms yesterday when i saw it all comming she has a basement...i dont.

hopefully tornados bounce off the mtns and dont amount to much... although last yr we had alot of distruction from similar weather :(

being pregnant isnt fun during a storm,,im getting waaaay 2 nervous

    This for sure! I am petrified of tornados! We don't get them in CT, Good luck!

    We had several tornados the year I was pregnant with my son.  I can't tell you how many times I sat in my bathtub with my cat, and we lived on a 3rd story apartment at the the time.  I'm sure you'll be fine, just make sure you are in a safe place in the home.

    I live in tornado alley and suggest taking the warnings seriously and getting to a safe place if you can.  I have seen too much damage from these horrible storms and tornadoes but those who stay aware and safe will usually be fine.  Good Luck!

    I'm in Alabama and worried too! I think the pregnancy definitely makes the worry factor worse. We are about 20 miles south of the highest risk area but it's still scary. Sad

    I am in Kentucky and just waiting it out....suppose to hit in a couple hours here.  Glad I have a basement....stay safe!!

    That is the storm that passed just south of me on Wednesday I think... we had a tornado touch down in Nebraska from that storm... Last time in Nebraska a tornado touched down in February was just over 100 years ago...

    Just stay safe and yes, I think you should have stayed with your mom as well...

    i didn't stay at my moms cause i didnt wanna sleep on a couch last nite... and ive been watching intellicast.com to show actual paths of storms i stayed on the border thank goodness just got rain and super loud thunder...

    Ugh, I've been watching these horrible storms...I used to live in TN but thank goodness never was in a bad tornado. Please stay safe!

    I'm in Ohio.. Our county was under tornado warning... At least 2 touched down here and a rotation was spotted.. One of the local fire departments was completely destroyed.. Scary stuff.

    I'm in the Nashville area and we had the same same storms go thru.  I was so bummed cause we were suppose to have our a/s and find out the sex...family was in town and everything but all business offices and schools closed early, by 2, so our 3PM now got pushed to next week :(  That being said, better safe than sorry.
