Pregnant after a Loss

Preparation books!?!

Are there any book recommendations that I can look into that give good advice for newborn/infant parenting and schedules?  I did look into the Happiest Baby On The Block dvd.  It was interesting and made alot of sense, but that's mainly just for learning how to get your baby to shop crying.  I wonder about other simple routines like bedtimes, feeding times, ect.  Maybe I should ask my OB?

Re: Preparation books!?!

  • I would try the Parenting after a loss too. I haven't looked into any books for after. I've only looked into labor and birth right now.

I'm interested in what is suggested.

  • I'm reading "On Becoming Babywise".  It's come highly recommended to me from lots of other mothers and I like it so far.  It gives great tips on sleep and feeding schedules which I hope will be really helpful!

I'm reading Babywise too. I'm also waiting for a book by Dr Sears on breastfeeding to come in the mail.
