I'm so frustrated with my husband's work. I actually traveled with him to Canada so we could be together during ovulation this month. He's trying to figure out when he can travel again to make work happy but how am I supposed to know? This is just our second cycle to try consecutively so I have no information, really.
I'm happy they flew me out here with him this time, but they won't pay again in the future.
Hopefully things work this time so he can travel freely, but even if I do get pregnant and don't have to worry about being around him during ovulation I still want him around when I am puking my brains out and need breakfast in bed.
Ok, that's the end of my rant. I just wish work wasn't being so difficult!
Re: UGH! Husband has to travel for work
Thank you to you and your husband for your service to our country. I can't imagine how hard it is for you.
OP, I know how you feel. MH travels often for work. Most trips are day trips but that means he works 14+ hour days (that's with travel time) and he's too tired when he gets home to do anything. We've been trying to work through it the best we can.

Thank you! I am proud of my husband
I hope you and your husband are able to be together at the right time too!
I'm sure it's frustrating if he has to travel so much. You'll just have to do the best you can to schedule it around when you think your FW will be if that's possible for him.
As for the part I quoted, most women don't have to puke their brains out in 1st tri, thank goodness, although there are a few exceptions. And if you are puking your brains out, you won't want breakfast in bed! ;-) I do understand that you want him around when you're pregnant, but the vast majority of women are not incapacitated during 1st tri, so in terms of him traveling occasionally, you should be fine once you get to that point.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation and I definitely don't think my situation is as bad as it can be. I just have to take it one day at a time!
Also, you're right about not being so sick in the 1st tri. I just assumed I would be a big whiner needing lots of attention. I'm a big girl. I can do this!
