Intro and question about nanny sharing....

Hi there. I've never posted on this board before, but I'm trying to connect with some other local moms who might be interested in "sharing" a nanny.  By that, I mean a mom who only needs childcare 2 or 3 days per week and would like to team up with me (I need a nanny for 2 days a week) to create a sort of full-time position for whatever nanny we find.

I'm expecting twin boys in late April and I'll be returning to work at the start of August, so I was thinking that it would start then.

 Is anyone trying to set up something similar? If so, wanna go halfsies? :)

    Hi and welcome.  I recommend posting this on the DC Urban Mom website and also on any local listserves.  It's also VERY early to be looking for a nanny in August.  I would certainly try now, but keep trying if you don't hear anything.  We really struggled to set up a nanny share and finally got it to work right before I had to go back to work.  GL!
