Any tips on a 2nd follow up letter post-interview?

Hey ladies. I posted on here a while back looking for interview tips. I had my interview and I think it went great! I felt really good about it. I sent my first follow up email that day, and they said I could expect to hear something back by mid-week the following week (which was last week).I havent heard anything yet. I wanted to send another quick little email today. Any tips on how to word a 2nd follow up email? I know what I want to say..."hey, whats going on? are you going to hire me or what? I'm still here!"....but obvioulsy cant word it like that :-)

    Personally I might wait just a bit longer... sometimes the hiring process can take longer than expected.  On the other hand, if you can think of a good reason to contact them again (like providing an additional reference) you can send a letter with that information and reiterate your interest.  Just my two cents :) GL!
