So far I am feeling ok, been having lots of cramping. Start my weekly appts this week YAY!! Hope I make it to my due date. I am on the March board & a lot of our moms have been having their LO's this last week/weekend, between 36-38wks... YIKES!
Hope all of you are doing well! HAVE A GREAT WEEK

Updates: How are you feeling?I'm ready...I think. Mostly tired and frustrated as my body will not let me do all of the things I need to do. Thankfully, DH has been very helpful with getting chores done and offering support. Any events/news to share?Nothing major - my coworkers are very sweet and giving me a shower this week. Should be a nice time, and I am looking forward to it! New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared? The baby is starting to drop - and while my lungs are thankful for it, my bladder is wondering wth happened.
Question of the Week:How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby. I think I have been pretty on top of things when it comes to what I have been exposed to during pregnancy. I also pay attention to what I eat, and I have been very good about keeping the questionable (but often very yummy) foods away. I don't work too hard at going all organic - but I do like my locally grown and sourced products. Now, I admit I wanted to be greener with what we have registered for or purchased for the baby, but we will be doing disposable diapers. Otherwise products are BPA, etc- free.

Aside from the constant back and hip discomfort, chronic constipation, shortness of breath, and need to pee every 20 minutes, I feel good! LOL. Baby is practicing her gymnastics every day and I've gotten to the point where some of her movements are starting to hurt. But I still love the frequent reminders that she's alive and kickin' in there! The nursery is almost done -- just have to put a few things up on the wall and it's ready to go!
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.
I started trying to switch to a lot of organic food when I was ttc -- I started out with milk, eggs, and as many other dairy products as I could find reasonably good organic substitutes for because I figured if what I'm eating can come out in my milk, it makes sense that all of the antibiotics and growth hormones they feed to dairy cows would be coming out in their milk too. Now I've moved into most of my produce thanks to a relatively new natural foods store that opened up nearby, and starting on organic grains too.
I'm more focused on what I'm putting into myself and baby than on stuff like cloth diapers or organic cotton clothes, etc. At least at the beginning when i'm more worried about convenience and efficiency than anything else, I'm willing to pollute the landfills with disposables. Maybe when baby gets a little bigger I'll think about switching over. DH is a chemist and is confident that a lot of the fear about stuff like VOC's and BPA is way overblown, so I tend to not worry too much about that either.
Sorry Team Green, but we couldn't wait any longer. Hope Team Pink has room for one more! We have a little girl on the way!
Feeling good- finally found that energy I've been reading about. We also started registering this past weekend. God, it was overwhelming! Thank goodness for great return policies.
QOTW- Quite honestly, I don't consider myself that environmentally conscious. Sure, I watch what I eat but I'm not a food nazi about it. And while I let my DH sand and strip the furniture we are refinishing for the nursery because of all the dust/particles, I still buy and use store-bought cleaning supplies containing chemicals. I guess you could say I'm knowledgable of the dangers, but not diligent about them.

Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?Pretty uneventful week for me. Still preggo
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby. I think I'm to the extreme. This is partly to due to necessity the rest I'll blame on crazy pregnancy hormones. I have gone all out I've changed the products I use on my hair and skin because I was worried about endocrine disrupters. Denied myself the joy of eating coldcuts. I could go on but I think you get the picture.

Feeling tired. Think the energy train passed me by. Had it a few days at the beginning of 2nd tri and not starting 3rd. Going with the flow. Not much new here; other then increasing anxieties. But that really isn't new either. Crib and dresser are here and ready to be assembled. Going to paint this weekend and then next weekend when I'm working, DH is going to have the dads over to help put these things together; otherwise LO will be sleeping on the floor.
Don't cosider myself all that enviromentally concious.

Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared? Im feeling the same, still nauseous alot, feeling really bloated by tht end of the day, yesterday was the worst for it.
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby. Im not overly environmentally conscious, if there is a better alternative I will go that route but I dont go out of my way...does that make sense?
14yr old DD, 9yr old DS. BFP Oct 30, missed M/C at 9weeks November 27/11
lets see biggest problem is constipation. Insomnia. Back pain and gas. Dont consider myself a green person but i do try to watch what i eat and be enviromentally conscoious about protecting the planet. Have a sixteen week appointment with the ob on the 29th. Hopefully will schedule my 20 week antonomy scan
Update: I am feeling as well as I have thoughout the pregnancy. My constipation is far better than it has been up to this point. The main pregnancy gripes I have now is a constant congestion/head cold-like drainage going on, but it isn't that bad, it's more annoying than anything else and 5'2" and only growing out with this little guy I am having a hard time putting on socks, tights and getting shoes and pants on and off. I am thankful I am not growing too wide, but the huge boulder in my midsection is making things a little tough and I have 2 more months to grow! I haven't had the hip or back pain thankfully, but I did have my first horrible leg cramp in my calf a few days ago that was excruciating, lasted about 3 full minutes and I am still feeling a little sore from it. Oh, and I don't know what to make of the fact that my little boy only seems to hang out way over on my left side. He barely crosses my belly button to the right, Anyone else?
QOTW: I've never considered myself to be a crunchy momma, (as people describe the extremely eco-conscious here), but I guess I sort of am. I do whatever I can that fits within my lifestyle. Since I live in Seattle there are a lot of eco-friendly choices readily available, but because I work full time among other things I find that I am not as dedicated as those who make a larger time commitment to being green.
This means I pay for my green-ness when I have the opportunity. My car isn't a hybrid and doesn't run on bidiesel, I do not make my own cleaning supplies, collect my own rainwater, have solar panels, (though I would like them), or garden for my own fruits and veggies. I do shop local & organic, avoid any foods I suspect have hormones or are pkged in containers with BPA, (like canned goods), I avoid processed flour and sugar as best I can. I use natural cleaning products as well as health products, (make-up, lotions etc), and will continue this with our baby.
As for baby, I plan to breastfeed, deliver in a hospital, but would like to go med-free, hire a doula and have signed up for hypnobirthing. I will avoid petroleum-based ointments, plan to cloth diaper, use biodegradeable wipes and at times bidegradeable disposeable inserts and have purchased mostly (but not exclusively), organic, made in the USA clothing and bedding, (yes I bought the pebble nooksleep mattress). However I also am realistic that I cannot completely stop all off-gassing in my house and don't freak out if someone purchases something for my kid that doesn't fit this mold. I am of the mindset that I am going to make informed decisions, do what I can and do my best, but not obsess or stress about it.

Ha, I'm exactly the same height you are and have been experiencing the "nowhere to grow but straight out" issue too! Sometimes I still forget and I'll try to reach for something and whack my tummy right into the counter or whatever. I honestly have no idea how I'm going to be able to stand without tipping over in a couple of months!
Baby ELF definitely has her prefered positions -- her feet are almost always either in my pelvic region kicking me in the groin/bladder, or all the way over on my right side. I can feel her rolling around a lot, but I don't feel much on my far left side other than an occasional elbow or something just to the left of my belly button. I think it's normal for them to get comfy a certain way and stick with it.

I know my husband gives me the side eye when I ask for help and then usually comments on how I have 2 more months so I had better start thinking about some other options...he seriously mentioned that he thought maybe I should talk to someone at work about being able to wear flip flops and sweats at the end...Um, I am in management in an office setting so I don't think that is going to work out!
I am guilty of thinking I can squeese by things sideways and whacking my bump...Umm note to self, your profile is at least as wide as you are head on and starting to look as wide as you are tall! lol. I know what you mean about tipping over, oh, and I am about to get a stepstool to climb into our bed. It sits up kinda high, but I am starting to have trouble getting into it. I am a mess!
Good to know baby Elf has a preference too. My boy is head down and turned inward, I see his head and butt protrude out on the left sometimes and his little feet are always kicking right below my boobs, (well my left boob).
Glad all is well with you and little lady Elf!

Not much new to report here. I'm still not really having symptoms. I went in this morning for my first trimester part of my integrated screen, and a 1 hr glucose. I hate those darned things.
I think I'm somewhere in the middle for my level of environmental conciousness. I obviously stay away from things that are no-no's, but at the same time, I figure that certain things the LO will get exposed to once they're born anyway. I eat healthy, but rarely organic. I snack but try to limit junk food.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
Still feeling fairly well - still waiting for the baby to turn (currently breech). I have been doing lots of pelvic tilts and we're thinking about trying moxibustion soon.
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.
We're pretty green. I'm mostly vegetarian and eat a lot of organic food. I generally avoid processed foods but don't mind having it occasionally (mmmmm especially ice cream and chocolate!). We had a natural birth last time (in a hospital) and hope to do it again - if we can get the little creature to turn. We'll be using cloth diapers and lots of hand-me-downs. I'm in the middle of making cloth wipes too, and plan to make most of his/her babyfood (same as before) - mostly because it's cheaper!
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
Just got back from sunny Arizona only to be welcomed at the airport with snow! It was a great vacation and my in-laws loved spending time with DD#1. Now it's back to the daily grind. Besides the 2AM bathroom break and insomnia afterwards, I am feeling okay. Getting out of breath more too! I feel like there is not much room left for this baby to grow. 6 more weeks and counting!
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.
I avoided a lot of chemicals and luckily DH has been doing a lot of the housecleaning. I'm not super environmentally conscious, just more aware of what's better for the family.
Updates: still on part time bedrest for pre-e. BP was up again at my appointment today after being in normal range on Friday, so he is repeating my 24 urine this week. Next appointment Friday will include BPP/NST again (baby passed with flying colors on Friday). We are still looking at induction Sun/Mon'ish. OB tried to strip what he could reach of my membranes today, just to try to make some more progress so that induction will be more likely to succeed. I'm at 1 cm, 60% effaced and -2 station. It's something at least!
QOTW: We drink organic milk and try to get organic produce when I can. Now that I'm not working anymore, $$ will likely limit some of our options. I am however, still planning to use disposable diapers. My mom did cloth with us, and she really convinced us to stick with disposables.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
Feeling good still! Just seemed to have gotten much bigger the past 2 weeks.
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.
Sort of conscious, we have always been aware of what food is made of or from. We try to cook with non-processed foods, limit our intake of saccarine (sp?) and other altered foods. We don't make a decision to buy only organic foods but just try to make good choices when possible.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared? Still feeling pretty good, but the 12 hour work days take a lot out of me. Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are
you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and
eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby. I changed my diet pretty radically except for the occasional treat. I cut out almost all processed foods, and I am trying to eat mainly homemade or whole foods. This is for my (and LO's) health, of course, but I also like that one consequence is less food packaging/waste. I also plan to cloth diaper #2, at least at home. For a lot of baby stuff, I try to buy used or borrow from friends/family, because that is less resource-intensive (for me and the environment, ha ha!).

Now, I admit I wanted to be greener with what we have registered for or purchased for the baby, but we will be doing disposable diapers. Otherwise products are BPA, etc- free.
Updates: How are you feeling? Any events/news to share? New pregnancy symptoms or any that have disappeared?
Aside from the constant back and hip discomfort, chronic constipation, shortness of breath, and need to pee every 20 minutes, I feel good! LOL. Baby is practicing her gymnastics every day and I've gotten to the point where some of her movements are starting to hurt. But I still love the frequent reminders that she's alive and kickin' in there! The nursery is almost done -- just have to put a few things up on the wall and it's ready to go!
Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.I started trying to switch to a lot of organic food when I was ttc -- I started out with milk, eggs, and as many other dairy products as I could find reasonably good organic substitutes for because I figured if what I'm eating can come out in my milk, it makes sense that all of the antibiotics and growth hormones they feed to dairy cows would be coming out in their milk too.
Hi everyone!

Im not overly environmentally conscious, if there is a better alternative I will go that route but I dont go out of my way...does that make sense?Update: I am feeling as well as I have thoughout the pregnancy.
Glad all is well with you and little lady Elf!

sex of baby ?????????????
So far everything is going good as far as I can see. Don't have my 1st appt. till 3/12 which I found odd since i am 37. But luckily this is #5 for me (20/g 18/b 15/b 7/b) so I pretty much know what to expect. BUTTTTT I am HUGE i mean HUGEEEE I am only bout 7 weeks and look 6 mths and twins do run in my family. So idk if it is cuz it is #5 and everything is already done streached out or there is 2 in there..lol
Updates - my belly is huge but I still haven't gained an weight. Starting to feel flutters.
QOTW - I'm fairly hippyish, into mostly organic food and try to avoid chemicals.

For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.I avoided a lot of chemicals and luckily DH has been doing a lot of the housecleaning.

Question of the Week: How environmentally conscious are you when it concerns your baby? For example what you are expose to and eat while pregnant and the products you purchase for the baby.
