For BFing mamas- amazing nursing pads

Bamboobies (nursing pads) are amazing if you have sore nipples or leak a lot. I got a pair for one cent and already ordered 6 more. They feel so much nicer against my skin and they contain the leaks from the ladies.

  • I just looked them up since I'm using some cotton ones from BRU that leak, but they're pretty expensive. Are they really worth spending that much? If they are, I'll probably order some since I'm going back to work and don't want to deal with leaks! How did you get a pair for 1 cent?

  • I am a cheapskate and I think they are worth every penny. The material up against your skin is so soft and absorbent. I was able to find a coupon for 20% off (DDL20) so that helps. If you're ok with buying used, I've seen women selling them on DiaperSwappers.

I kind of figured that a box of 60 disposables ($10) was only lasting me about a month, so it was worth it to spend a little more to get a supply that would last indefinitely!

Someone on FB (I think?) posted about a promotion they were running where they were selling them for a penny. I hadn't used them before and wasn't sure if they were good, so I didn't share... Bad MrsP!

    I second these!

  • I don't leak but need something soft against my nipples inbetween me and my bra and I got some Bamboobies about a month ago.  I LOVE them!

  • Thank you for recommending these! I was having the hardest time finding reusable nursing pads that people actually liked - all the reviews kept saying how they weren't absorbent and it was better to go with disposable. I've been stuffing baby washcloths into my bras as makeshift nursing pads - ha! Then again, I'm a SAHM so I don't have to look presentable, but it's still nice to not feel totally frumpy.

  • I use bamboo pads during the day when I'm feeding LO regularly, but they don't work for me for overnight - I wind up with wet sheets and more laundry when I wear them too long.  But I have overproduction issues.  The only pads that work overnight for me are the lansinoh disposables.
