Hi girls! So at my appointment today although my babies are still passing their biophysicals. Allison has only grown about 3 ounces in two weeks, putting her at about 3lbs, 1oz give her take 200g. Ethan is still doing well and estimated at 4lbs. Now, since my BP has been on the rise (140ish/92ish) is normal, I also had protein in my urine today so I'm possibly developing pre-clampsia. I'm doing a 24 hour urine catch in the hospital to determine. Also, Dr. decided to give me the steroids for the babies lungs even though we are 2 days past the "normal date" of 34w. She said to be safe rather than sorry considering my babe's are so small. I feel really good about this decision! They have to admit me regardless for these shots also because they mess with blood sugars and I have GD.Also, if my 24 hour urine is positive for Pre-clampsia I won't be released Monday and the remainder of my pregnancy ( no more than 2 1/2 weeks anyways ) will be spent here. I'm basically a "ticking twin timebomb". My doctor is very happy I have made it this far and feels my kids will do well despite being small. I'm in a hospital with a Level 3 NICU and my kids will be the "big kids on the block (gestationally and size wise).Thoughts and Prayers would be appreciated!! Thanks girls!! Edited to add: a Resident said to me there is a good chance we could have "leap year babies"!!  I'll be 35w on Wed.

    I'm glad that you have been able to make it pretty far in your pregnancy and that you are getting excellent care.  GL with your hospital stay! Be sure to keep us posted whenever you can!
