Breastfeeding

How would I comfort DD if she did not BF?!?

Seriously, it's wonderful.  Even at almost a year, if DD falls and bumps her head or does not feel well, I can instantly soothe her.

Yay for nursing!

(DD is sick right now and DH knows there is not much use in trying to comfort her if I am right there :)

  • It was one of my biggest fears about weaning. It was the superweapon, what would I do without it? But we coped when the time came. But it was a great comforter.

  • Yes sooo true!

Sometimes I do feel like an all you can eat buffet though!

  • That was always a big fear of mine too, and definitely a major perk of BFing was instantly being able to soothe my baby!  I day time weaned when DD was 20ish months old and since then I just cuddle her when she is upset.  She cries for longer, but being able to snuggle her is good too!  When she was really little I hated hearing her cry, it broke my heart to hear it. So the shorter she cried the better for everyone!
