Great ultrasound today!!!!

I went in for my dating ultrasound today and was absolutely terrified. Dh was great though. While waiting in the office to be called back he kept finding silly things to distract me (such as he woman who must have killed at least 6 animals to complete her outfit or picking up a magazine saying he wanted to know how to get his sexiest hair and perfect skin). When we went back they did an external and internal exam. The baby measured 6w4d and had a heart rate of 170 on the external and measured 6w3d with a heart rate of 160 internally so that was weird but the good new is baby is measuring right where s/he needs to be and has a strong heart beat. Our tech was Russian with a strong accent and as soon as she picked up the heart beat she looked at DH and said "We have heartbeat" DH has been laughing all day saying things like "heart of baby is strong like Siberian moose". Oh DH.... LOL... I have never felt so relieved. Oh and when I got home my doppler was waiting for me on the stoop. Of course I tried it even though I know here's no way I would hear anything but my own heartbeat at this point.
