A friend of mine has a DD w/ Asperger's and asked me to ask you all this.
She is at the age of puberty and my friend wants to know if anyone has any advice/knowledge/websites/books etc. on how to go about explaining the change that is about to happen and how to deal with it. She is not very good with changes, and has some textural issues (hates wet things, etc.). My friend basically needs somewhere to start the conversation in a way that she will understand and be more willing to adapt to the change.
TIA
Re: Auntie or anyone w/ Asperger help
Auntie, I see that now. I was on my phone earlier so I couldn't click the links you posted easily.
I'm sure any of the books Auntie suggested would work well. That is just the only one we have and was suggested to us when I was looking for something and I agree with the fact that it does have a lot of good info on hygiene in it.
