I had my 32 week appt yesterday and the OB said she thinks my baby is transverse (sideways), she said at my 36 week appt she is going to do an ultrasound to check the position of the baby. She said if he is I will have to meet with my Dr. and start thinking about C-section or moving the baby from the outside (which I've heard is very painful).
I did some research online and saw there are some tricks you can do to try to move the baby in the right direction. Have any of you tried these and if so did they work?
If your baby was transverse, did it move down on its own? I still have 8 weeks which seems like plenty of time to move, but the Dr was a little concerned.
Thanks!

Re: Transverse Baby at 32 weeks
"they" say not to worry until 36 weeks, which it sounds like your Dr. is shooting for. External versions can work! I just heard of a lady in my prenatal yoga class getting one and it worked... and she was fully breach! Just think, you'll only have to go half that distance... (Sad attempt at light humor). Hang in there and keep up posted! Hopefully LO will go head down in the next few weeks !!!!
Good luck!!
This is a great website. DS was transverse at my 37w appointment, doc sent me for an u/s to confirm, and in that few house I felt him flip. At the u/s he was indeed, head down. What I am trying o get t is not to worry right now. Baby has tons of time to flip, and flip, and then maybe even flip again.
