How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He says he is excited but I think he is hiding some nerves and anxiety in there somewhere FTD should be a little nervous though!
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He does this weird thing where he pulls his lips back real far to slowly place the toothbrush on the very front of his teeth to start brushing. It is the weirdest thing and just makes me batty for some reason
Re: GTKY: Husband/BF/SO edition
Oooh fun!
Age: 28
Occupation: Project Analyst for a Gov't Contractor in DC
Hobbies: Working out/lifting, brewing beer (which smells funky btw!)
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is super excited but wishes it was a boy. He is VERY happy for a girl though...but will admit he has no clue how to handle our sex
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He blows his nose a lot and then leaves the tissues in his pockets, then I do laundry not knowing they are in there...SO GROSS! And he also is very animated with his hands/arms when he talks...sometimes I want to pin them to his sides! But I love him!Age: 27 Although yesterday I he couldn't remember how old he was for the life of him and kept looking at me like I should know. I told him "Babe, I got a lot going on right now. I'm gonna need you to remember your own age ok?".
Occupation: Security Office at a state college and a student.
Hobbies: DCUO (Video game), reading comic books and watching movies
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is really excited to be a Daddy but he grew up without a father and I think he worries sometimes about not having a good example of what a father should be like. I know he will be a natural at it as he takes good care of me and took great care of his three sisters and mother his whole life.
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He is under the impression that our love seat is his coat rack! He comes home from work and immediatly puts his coat on the love seat along with a hoodie or sweater if he is wearing one!
Age: 24
Occupation: VP of Business Development for a small technology development business
Hobbies: Work! He does love playing hockey, although since we moved to Florida he hasn't had the opportunity to get out on the ice.
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is so excited to be a Dad! He loves this little girl more than anything. I went to bed early last night so he slept in the guest room. This morning he said to me "I missed my girls last night. I missed cuddling with my Liz and my Ella". Awwww...
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He has a tough time picking up after himself. It gets on my nerves so much and I feel like I'm constantly nagging him. He gets into these cleaning rampages every once in a while and cleans everything, but in between those times... it drives me crazy! I wish he would clean as he goes..
Good idea for a GTKY!!
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
Baby RJ, born 1/25/2014
Formerly Twilightmv
Age: 36
Occupation: Fedex Driver
Hobbies: Poker, Video games, golf
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is nervous and a little worried. Once she is here and we know all is ok he will feel better. We have no reason to worry, we just know that not everything with pregnancy is always puppies and rainbows.
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He purposely drops his dirty clothes on the floor instead of the laundry basket. He knows it drives me crazy and I can't let it sit there so I'll pick it up in a matter of seconds.Age: 20
Occupation: Apprentice Pipe Fitter (installing fire sprinklers)
Hobbies: Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, Shooting, Riding horses, pretty much anything he can do outside and I love it!
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is a ball of emotions. At first he really wanted a boy, then we found out she was a girl and he was a little bummed and now he is totally anti boys. "They make everything into swords and guns!" lol He has spent a lot of time with our niece lately and is loving the idea of being a dad to a girl.
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He lives to work. He has been working at the family business since he was 6 (no exageration). Sometimes he doesn't know how to just have fun. If he has a day off work and I'm not off work he will just go to the job site and "get ahead of the game". I wish he knew how to relax a little every now and then. But I do love that he has work ethic.

One thing he does that drives you crazy: He leaves stuff lying around all over the house. it drives me nuts!! not that I am OCD about being clean, but I HATE that his stuff is everywhere!!!!!!

How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is SOOOO excited! Sometimes I think he is more connected to this baby than I am. The baby goes crazy when he is near me talking. He is going to be a fantastic dad!
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He is very forgetful. He is the smartest (book wise) person I have ever known, but he had to have been a dumb blond in a former life; not a lot of common sense. I am learning to laugh at it, but it drives me up the wall!Age: 31
Occupation: Railroad conductor, but he's in engineer training now.
Hobbies: Video games, golf, reading
How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He is really excited. I can tell he is getting more excited the bigger I get. He's also been way more excited since we had our 20 week ultrasound. Something about seeing the baby moving around in there.
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He has a one track mind. If he gets his mind on something, he has to do something about it now...no matter what else is going on. If he can't find something he wants to find, he has to find it before he can do anything else...even if it means we'll run late. It drives me nuts because it's never important.
That was MH fear too so he is uber excited this is a boy. He kept saying "what are we going to do with a teenage girl?" Um hello? I was one, I think I got this...but I must say it is funny to laugh now because he has the tougher job making sure LO knows how to be a man/gentleman and have the sex talk with him haha.

How you think/know he feels about the baby coming: He's terribly excited. He talks to my belly all the time and puts his face to it so that he can feel the baby move. He wants to buy belly buds so that we can play music for him. He bought the baby a cup with his name on it (that he won't be able to use until he's 3) because he thought it was cute
One thing he does that drives you crazy: He makes up words to songs, even my favorite songs. And they're not bad, but come on, I just want to hear the song! He also has ADD, so when he gets really focused in on something, I could be naked, turning backflips with sparklers and I still would not be able to get his attention. And when I finally get his attention, if something happens on TV or in the room, he's gone again.

One thing he does that drives you crazy: He picks his nose. All the time. I call him on it every time I see him. I don't know how he can be picking his nose when we leave the house, and then be picking it again a couple hours later. How can he have that many boogers? What's worse is that he "sprinkles" then on the floor. Sometimes when I'm harrassing him about it, he'll toss them in my direction, or if I don't see him picking, he'll get my attention and then show me his booger. It makes me want to puke. I have dry heaved multiple times because of a booger incident AND almost drove off the road when he tossed a booger and it landed on my hand. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's boogers! Ugh, just typing it is turning my stomach.
