Yup. That's what my three year just asked. He didn't really buy my answer of: sometimes when a mommy and daddy love each other very much, a baby will begin to grow. He followed that up with: but, how mom?

My nephew came up with his own explanation when his mom got pregnant. He told me that God put the baby in there. I asked him if I should have a baby, and he shrugged his shoulders and said "Well, if you want one, you just have to ask!" lol

Yeah I have a 5 and 7 year old and for now they are good with "God puts babies there" not sure if we will get more detailed questions like you did.

We told my daughter, that we bought a pill and I swallowed it. She has thought this for many years becuase she asked how she got in there

At this stage, it seems the easiest. She DID ask me the other day how the baby will get out, and well, I haven't come up with quite a creative answer for that one yet
