What are you looking forward to this week? It's a short week since i was off for the bank holiday monday. Hanging out with some old friends this weekend, too.
Wednesday confession? DH & I.have only had sex once since I got my bfp 2 weeks ago. This is NIT the norm for us!

Do you think you?ll have your baby early, right on time, or late?2 nd -time moms, when did you have your baby in relation to your due date? No clue, my sister said she hopes I go a week early and have a 10-11-12 baby.
When are you going Facebook official? Not sure yet, maybe at 9 weeks, our anniversary.
When did your m/s start? Thinking that today might be the day...felt pretty queasy this morning.

What are you looking forward to this week? Appointment tomorrow and spending the weekend doing nothing with DS & DH.
Wednesday confession? I have been doing the bare minimum at work the last week or two. Some of it is that I'm not feeling the best, but a lot of it is just that I'd rather bump & surf for baby gear than work.
How is your DH/BF/FI/SO handling the news? He is excited to complete our family. (He's 41 so this will be the last baby.) I think he's also a little scared about how much more work two kids will be.

Is it normal to feel this huge, so early on, because of bloat? Yes! Last pregnancy I was so excited to start to show. This time I'm already over the feeling of being big.
Do you think you?ll have your baby early, right on time, or late? 2nd-time moms, when did you have your baby in relation to your due date? I think the baby will come early. DS was born 5 1/2 weeks early, but didn't even have to go to the NICU. I'm hoping this baby holds off a little longer, but I have a feeling it will still be early.
When are you going Facebook official? I don't have a FB account.
When did your m/s start? This pregnancy 6w1d. Last pregnancy I was nauseous before I even got a positive HPT.
What is your favorite go-to pregnancy food? Spinach salad, cucumbers in Italian dressing, pretzels
If you are a 2nd-time mom, any advice for first time mom?s on breastfeeding (BF)? I didn't BF DS because of some tummy issues he had, so no advice here. I am excited to read what others say.

My DH is incredibly excited. He said that he's going to have a hard time keeping this a secret (although we've told our parents) because he thinks about it all the time.

I haven't thought about this. I wouldn't mind delivering on October 30, since that's the day we got engaged.

I've liked the name Grace for a long time, but I don't think my DH is a huge fan of it. Roscoe is a family name that we both kind of like, but probably wouldn't use.

I love to travel. The most exotic location might be Kuwait. If I could travel anywhere, I'd like to visit Syria (under different circumstances).

Is it normal to feel this huge, so early on, because of bloat? First PG, I did not show till late but now I feel so bloated and it has crossed my mind if there might be more than one this time.
Do you think you?ll have your baby early, right on time, or late? 2nd-time moms, when did you have your baby in relation to your due date? DS was 10 days early and came 28 mins after I arrived at the hospital. I probably only labored for about 3.5 hours. At my 6 week follow up my doc even said if I am having a 2nd we will move into the hospital at 36 weeks (I think she was half joking)

Both DD and DS were 9 days early, labor even started at the same time of day. I'm expecting the same with this baby, though 9 days early puts me very close to my brother's wedding...

If you are a 2nd-time mom, any advice for first time mom?s on breastfeeding (BF)? It will be hard. Just give it your best and know you tried. Also, PUMP! I wish I would have pumped more in the beginning to help establish an extra supply and I never did. So when I went back to work I only had enough to feed LO and no extra. And I didnt respond to the pump as well as I did baby. SO, start pumping early!

Is it normal to feel this huge, so early on, because of bloat? I never got bloated with my first and only a couple times so far with this one. Normal I guess.
Do you think you?ll have your baby early, right on time, or late? 2nd-time moms, when did you have your baby in relation to your due date? My first came at 40 weeks, my second was exactly 2 weeks early so I have no idea what to expect this time. I do know, however, no sex in the last month this time! Last pregnancy DH and I DTD and contractions started 20 minutes later and she was born early the next morning!
When are you going Facebook official? After we hear the heartbeat at my second appointment.
When did your m/s start? With my first right at 9 weeks, with my second it just casually snuck in and so far nothing yet but it's still early.
What is your favorite go-to pregnancy food? I don't ever have any.
If you are a 2nd-time mom, any advice for first time mom?s on breastfeeding (BF)? For some it comes easily and others it's a BIG struggle. If it's something you REALLLY want to do, stick with it. It isn't for everyone and you shouldn't feel bad if it doesn't work for you. Feeding your baby is what's most important.

It is normal for it to hurt in the beginning. It is also normal to fell like you have a baby attached to you all the time, because at times you do. Both you and baby have to learn how to correctly nurse, so don't feel defeated if you are having problems. Find a great LC and they can help you tremendously!

I love the name Eli for a boy, but DH isn't in love with it. I have loved the name Tessa for a girl for years, but DH doesn't so I am totally lost on what we will name this child. If it is anything like our DS we waited until the gender scan and then started to look at names until we found one we loved. We started out saying we were not going to tell people what we were naming DS, but that didn't last very long. So I am sure we will tell people what our name choices are for this one as well.
I'm not sure if I said this before, but we will be finding out the gender of the baby prior to birth.

People are going to cram breastfeeding down your throat from the moment you give birth, so you need to take it with a grain of salt. Some people cant do it and shouldn?t be made to feel bad about it.

If you are a 2nd-time mom, any advice for first time mom?s on breastfeeding (BF)? It hurts at first but keep trying. Also pumping sucks! Start pumping right away when you have too much milk so you can stock pile. I ended up starting to supplement at 3.5 months because my supply while pumping at work was too low. Also don't sweat it if you have to give your baby formula. . . it won't kill them.

When did your m/s start? 3 weeks, 5 days pregnant, exactly. It's actually the reason I tested when I did. And it hasn't let up since.

When is your next appointment? Is anything special happening at that appointment? Friday (the 24th) and will be getting an ultrasound and bloodwork (I was at a fertility clinic with my first pregnancy and on progesterone, so they are being overly cautious)

Wednesday confession? I could almost bet money that this baby is a boy. I am thrilled about this, but at the same time I really was hoping for a sister for DD since I never got to experience that. Time will tell
How is your DH/BF/FI/SO handling the news? We were both shocked. It took us 14 months and an iui to get pregnant the first time around, so we were not expecting this at all considering I just got my period back in Dec since having DD.

Is it normal to feel this huge, so early on, because of bloat? I haven't really been too bloated. Bloating is normal though

I worked right up until the week before my due date and then they took me out even though I still felt great (last work day was Thursday - went into labor Monday - had DD on Tuesday). I think this one will be early.
When are you going Facebook official? After 12 weeks - which is actually Easter Sunday for me so I will announce to extended family then.
When did your m/s start? I am very lucky. I didn't have much with DD and haven't had too much this time either. I just make sure I am eating all the time because it's usually only when I'm hungry that I feel yucky.
What is your favorite go-to pregnancy food? Pretzels help me a lot when I do get some m/s. I am a huge sweets junky though and I am really not being very strong about it right now.
If you are a 2nd-time mom, any advice for first time mom?s on breastfeeding (BF)? It is a lot of work! Whenever you feel like you want to quit - wait a week. Things are constantly changing. I almost gave up when DD went through her 3w growth spurt and was nursing constantly. I ended up giving formula but regretted that later as I never did get a great supply and I blame it on not allowing my body to know that it needed more during her growth spurt. BF is only really really hard in the first month or so. Stick it out and you will be so glad that you did. Go into it knowing that it is a lot of work, it will hurt, and you will be at that baby's beck and call (I did pump so I could get a break).

What is a baby name(s) you want to use but can?t/won?t? When pregnant with DD we were going to name her Evelyn, but when we saw her she just wasn't an Evelyn. I can't use that name again as it's similar to DD's name.

When are you going Facebook official? Not anytime soon, if at all. Right now I feel like I might not do any FB updates until baby is born. It just invites lots of questions, and all my close friends and family can be updated by phone.
When did your m/s start? Nothing I would call morning sickness yet, but I haven't had much of an appetite and foods I usually like just don't sound good. Also, I got up this morning, got in the shower, and got very shaky and cold sweat/nauseated and had to get out and lay down. DH brought me a big bowl of cereal in bed, and I felt much better after that. I guess I will be eating first thing from now on!
What is your favorite go-to pregnancy food? I have been enjoying the "whips" yogurt. I know they're not as nutritious as regular yogurt, but I love the texture.
