The Origami...This thing is a freaking Rolls Royce! It manually opens and collapses-- you just press a button! It's like a Transformer. It also tells you the weather, how far you've gone on your trip, and how fast you're going. INSANE.
I mean, I'd never spend 900 bucks on a stroller, but that thing is tricked out!

Ooooo I wanna drive one! LOL. My parents are buying our stroller system and my Mom happens to have picky, expensive taste. She is looking at a lot of Peg Perego strollers, and the one I like most is the UPPAbaby Vista system (much cheaper than Peg Perego, but still roughly $700 with the accessories I would need) so I think we will be getting that.
Her thought is if you buy real good quality now, it will last through all the babies (even though I only plan on having two total). She used a real nice Peg Perego for my little brother and sister for about 5-6 years and managed to sell it after all that use for $500! So, I can see her point, but of course I am OK with it since it is not coming out of my pocket book. LOL.
Babies are just plain expensive!
We have the uppa baby and love it...still in great shape
I have heard nothing but GREAT things about it and when I went to check one out at BuyBuyBaby, I was walking all over the store with an empty stroller for a good half hour! I think it's amazing!
Thanks for the feedback-I am so excited to get it and the 2012 model comes out this month! Yay
The Origami is amazing!! One of the coolest features is that it is self-charging so you never have to worry about batteries or plugging it in. It was even one of the finalists for last gadget standing at CES this year. Would I love to own this stroller? Yes, but I can?t justify spending that much money on just a stroller. I have to admit though, I am a technology junkie. If you think this stroller is great, you should check out their version of a swing called the mamaRoo. I?m actually putting this on my registry instead of a regular swing. The new ones are $240, but you can get a refurbished one for $169.99. The nice thing about this one is that you can actually plug it in instead of going broke buying batteries for a typical swing.

The storage bag/basket on this thing is terrible. It hangs down by a central point (not a 4 point basket-like harness like the vista)... it swings around. I doubt you could fit a good size diaper bag (or if you could nothing else is going in there). Not worth the money, IMO
We are seriously considering an equally expensive stroller, Phil and Ted's Promenade, so it's not the price that turns me off. I don't need a generator or cell phone charger. What I don't see is a bassinet for a tiny baby or even the option to purchase it separately. Thanks but no thanks.
