DD is cruising. She tries to pull up on her laugh and learn train and seems to want to push it to walk but I just dont think it is designed to be used as a walker really... So what do you think? The train should be good enough or should I get her something specifically designed for walking assistance? And if I should, recommend yours please ![]()
Re: Push toy/ Walker
My LO used her little shopping cart, and she had this https://www.amazon.com/VTech-80-077000-Vtech-Sit-to-Stand-Learning/dp/B000NZQ010/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1329786738&sr=8-2
I think she enjoyed it. I dont think its necesesarry but she did have fun with it.
We have this one for LO and she loves it! It makes music when it's pushed (you can turn it off though) or it has activities on it for just sitting and playing.

It's nice that she has something to push around the LR. She pulls herself up on everything and shimmies along the couch/coffee table, but with this she can go all over until she's confident enough to go without it!
And just to add MH's niece who is 18 months and been walking since around 11/12 months also loves playing with it, so it seems like we'll get some use out of it!

We have this one:

We just converted it to the walker over the weekend--before she would just sit and play with it. It isn't fancy and doesn't make noise--but she loves spinning the ball and the bright colors. We have only used it in her bedroom so far--since it is carpet and she is still trying to figure it out. (The rest of the house has wood floors)
We have this one,
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fisher-Price-Go-Baby-Go-Walk-Ride-Lion/5716939
but we got it at a yard sale...not sure it's available anymore. DS LOVES it...he would push its nose to hear the music long before he could actually walk with it.
We have the laugh and learn train too...he doesn't do as well walking with it as he does with the other, the wheel base on the train is narrower so it tips over too easily.
