Baby Madison is here!

Well, another March momma here turned February Momma!

Our beautiful daughter, Madison Kay, was born at 9:30 on Tuesday, Valentines Day!  What an awesome gift truly made from LOVE!  There were some complications during delivery and Maddie was whisked away to NICU almost immediately.  The umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around her shoulders, and she breathed in some blood and fluid causing her lungs and stomach to fill up.  She was taken up and had the fluid pumped from her stomach.  Then, they found that she had an infection and needed to be treated with IV antibiotic for 7 days.  She gets her last dose tonight at 10:00 (YAY!)   She was also Anemic and needed a blood transfusion on Wednesday.  She has been through a lot already in her short time with us, but is getting better every day.  Looks like she will be coming home on Wednesday!  We can't wait!
