Asparagus

So as I was peeing this morning I thought "oh man my pee smells." Then I remembered I ate asparagus for dinner last night and it made me think.... it makes your pee smell - do you think it makes your breastmilk smell or taste weird?

The only reason I am wondering is because after bfing Ana this morning she spit up a lot, and she doesnt normally spit up. I was just wondering if anyone on TB has experienced this or knew about asparagus affecting your milk the wait it does your pee.

    I was wondering the same thing. When I was in college I went through a phase where I ate fruity pebbles for a week solid. I'm talking morning, noon, and night. It got to a point that my pee smelled like fruity pebbles. I had some yesterday morning so I thought about that.

    I was wondering the same thing! I had asparagus at dinner last night too and Maren has been spitting up like crazy today.

    I dont know about the smell and taste but it gives me gas and in turn gave LO gas. I ate it for 2 days oops. No more :( and I love it!

    I've had asparagus a few times and haven't noticed anything with LO.

    I honestly just posted about asparagus. Lo's farts stink so bad after I eat it... I bet it does make it taste weird
