Aden + Anais Target vs. Original Question

I know there have been a ton of posts on this (yes, I googled them :) ), but I'm curious if I'm not looking to use these for swaddling, but more for a nursing cover, car seat cover, all around blanket...are the Target ones big enough?  Or would you still recommend the original ones?  Thanks!

    i don't have any of the target ones, but I've been told they're smaller. I like the big ones, I wouldn't want them smaller, especially for using as a nursing cover (and I'm pretty petite)

    but I don't have experience with the smaller ones.

    I wondered the same thing, if the quality was a huge deal breaker.  I got a pack of them and I am assuming they are from target b/c we dont have any other store that would carry them and I doubt this person ordered from site.  I was temped to still by a pack of the original version online but I think I will wait and see if I have an issue with the 4 I have.  I plan to use for swaddling/ all around blanket.  I like that they are light since I live in the desert.

    the target version is 44 x 44 inches, the "boutique" version is 47 x 47 inches.

    ETA: i have heard the boutique versions are "nicer," but i cannot speak from experience. i can't imagine there is really much difference beyond size.

    I received both.  Besides the 3x3 difference PP mentioned, they feel and look the exact same to me. Same material and even similar designs.  Both soft and seem breathable.  Hope that helps!  And honestly I didn't notice the size diff till just now!

    I have four of the original swaddle blankets.  I love them.  They are my favorite blankets.  I don't have the Target version but I do have some swaddle blankets from Babies R Us that are smaller in size (maybe the size of the Target ones?) and they do not work as well.  I can't get really nice tight swaddle as every time he moves or rolls to the side the whole thing comes undone because they are not big enough.  That reminds me I need to do some laundry as they are all dirty!
