I'm getting tired of...

gagging while brushing my teeth. It's getting old. Fast. I gagged easily before (nightmare at the dentist!) but now it's ridiculous. I can barely stick my toothbrush in there without be gagging. I can barely brush my teeth! It's rather annoying.

No point to this except to rant to someone. My DH just laughs at me. He's nice that way! Smile

    Seriously....I'm gagging just reading this lol. I've been the same exact way! The thought of brushing seems like more of a chore than anything!

    I also have this problem. I have always gagged when I brushed my teeth but now it is even worse. Once I gag now, I start dry heaving, four or five times. I realized it happens when I brush the back of my tongue, so have stopped doing that for now and switched to an alcohol free mouthwash after I brush (sans the tongue).

    Me too - it's horrible.  My gag reflex is so sensitive these days!

    I do it too. I have stopped brushing my tongue except for the very tip for now.

    I know the feeling! I have been fine with everything except for when I brush my tongue or when I floss. I'm kinda embarrassed about it. It's been kinda better lately but we'll see... I have a dentist appointment this afternoon for a regular cleaning. Hopefully no up-chuck surprises. Tongue Tied

    Yep, I totally feel your pain!  The majority of times I have thrown up this pregnancy have been after brushing my teeth!  Soooo tired of it!!  I've tried switching tooth pastes, doesn't help.

    I am doing the exact same thing...I don't ever feel clean enough without brushing my whole tongue...hopefully within the next couple of weeks we can all brush our mouths without gagging!

    glad to see I'm not the only one! I have tried switching tooth paste as well, still didn't help.
