Parenting after 35

Intro

Hi everyone,

I'm 37 and have a 7 month old son.  My husband is 40 and I have a 15 year old stepson.  I thank god every day for my baby son.  My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage.  I generally lurk on this board but look forward to chatting with you.  In some ways I'm so glad I waited and in others I wished I had done it sooner.  Honestly, I think I'm a better mom because I waited.

  • Hi and welcome! I had my son (possible the only one) at 39 and am also thankful every day. Even when I lose my patience, lol, which I think I have more of than when I was younger. There are definitely some pros to being an older mom Smile
