saying goodbye
I know I haven't posted here a ton. I'm a perpetual Bump lurker.
We found out yesterday that our baby passed away. We had just hit 14 weeks, and it was measuring right on target, so it must have just happened. I'm going in for a D&C tomorrow. Still just in shock.
I blogged about it because I had to get it all down. It's heavy, so be warned if you choose to read it.
I wish you all the best in August! I wish I could join you. I won't be around the Bump for a long time - need a break from all the baby stuff for a while. I might hit up the Loss board if I feel ready sometime.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. That's about the same time in my last pregnancy when I started to miscarry. It's heartbreaking to make it out of the first tri only to have things not work out, just when you think youve made it past the riskiest part.
And having a child already doesn't ease the pain at all, I grieved for thd child I would never have and the sibling my son would never get to know. My doctors office too just said it would likely only happen once and didn't think it was a big deal. My d&c was very quick and I had a good recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss. Your blog post was incredibly touching and heartfelt. Though I cannot even imagine what you are going through, your words perfectly expressed your experience and was truly heartbreaking.
Try to take some time for yourself after the procedure to reflect on the positives in your life and be grateful for the love of your family at a time like this. Best of luck!
