Speaking of Jerry Springer-ish drama...

It occurred to me that 20 years ago, my DH gave me my first Valentine's day present from him at my brother's wedding. Awesome memory for us, but here is the drama. That also means that Valentine's Day was my brother's 20th wedding anniversary....even though he's been "separated" for 7 years and is "engaged" to the mother of his 2 year old daughter who is pregnant with his 5th child. My SIL also has another child (not my brother's) who is 5.

It's things like this that make me feel even worse for all 3 of my nephews and even for my niece and the one on the way.

Seriously, if you cannot get divorced, you shouldn't keeep having kids. He once said it's because they couldn't "afford" it. I emailed him all the necessary forms and the form to file for a filing fee waiver. Each year, he claims he will use his large tax refund to get divorced but never does. They already have a CS & CO order and they owned nothing together so there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't be divorced.

I love my brother because he is my brother but I seriously want to slap some sense into him.

BMIL is just like this! DH and his sibling turned out okay. BMIL and BFIL were married 30 years but only lived together and man and wife for 3. She had 6 children after DH by other men and gave them all BFILs last name. Jerry here we come...
