We have a nice Nikon D40 but I want something I can toss in my purse, diaper bag, or even pocket. I want to catch more "everyday" moments, like at playgrounds, but adding a bulky camera bag to all the other stuff I'm hauling (including three kids) means I don't go to the trouble.
DH's dad was a professional photographer and swore by Nikon, so DH said to stick with that...but I'm finding better reviews for other brands. I'm looking for something small, that takes decent pictures (for important stuff we'll bring the "good" camera), is easy to operate, and ideally has video capabilities. Preferably under $150. Thanks for any help.
