  • I don't always order the same thing, but I'm partial to moo goo gai pan and egg drop soup.

  • Fried dumplings and either chicken lo mien or bourbon chicken. Wonton soup if I feel like it. Omnomnom.

  • 9 times out of 10, I get veggie lo mein.  Since being pg, I've been trending more toward the spicy chicken dishes though.  Egg roll and cream cheese wontons on the side of course.  Coincidentally, this is what DH and I are ordering for Valentine's Day tomorrow!  I'm excited.

  • Funny you posed this today.

I had been craving Chinese so we ordered it last night. I had hot and sour soup, and some veggie/shrimp thing. My lower legs/feet blew up like freaking balloons within an hour. Drank 3L of water from about 8-11pm and was fine this morning. I don't know if I will ever eat it again. I felt so insanely horrible when I was done eating I can't even explain it.

  • CRAB RANGOON! (:

...and kung pow chicken which isn't nearly as important as the first part!

  • Ginger Beef, won ton soup, egg roll, chicken fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. I need a variety and lots of leftovers :-)

  • I have to say it depends on the place. If it's the little local place around the corner I get sweet & sour chicken or general tso's chicken. If it's PF Changs I love their kung pao scallops and mongolian beef. Yummy!

  • Depends on the type of Chinese restaurant.

At a congee house I'll order Wonton Noodle with Udon.

If I'm at my favorite Mandarin restaurant in the Chinatown in the city's east end I'll order General Tao, crab and corn soup with either preserved shrimp green beans or Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.

  • It depends on where/when:

Dim Sum = BBQ pork Bao; shu mai; and either an egg custard or red bean paste roll, plus whatever else looks good.

nice dinner sitdown place = mu shu pork; orange beef.  Peking Duck if it's affordable and cooked right.

Takeout chinese = a lo mein; orange or general tso's beef/chicken; shrimp chow mein.

  • mmmmm Chinese Food! I usually get Crab Rangoons, shrimp lo mein or sweet and sour chicken. Sometimes I'll get the Broccoli & garlic sauce. my mouth is watering now....thanks!

  • If I can get good lo mein then I am all about that.

Crab rangoon is really good, but only if it's not loaded with imitation crab (gag). I also like shrimp toasts and basically anything else deep fried with a sweet sauce. I like garlicky pork too, with white rice.

  • I have not had Chinese food in about a decade. Too much salt and other things I'd rather not have. I was forced to go to P.F. Changs once and got the Buddha Steamer with no sauce. That was okay, but just veggies.
