What's your ideal romantic day? ( or Valentines day)

don't worry I don't think any DH's will see this :)

If you could have one purely romantic day/evening what would it be? Nothing is cliche, or too under/over the top!

    Having hubs home and sober (the last 2 or 3 have been hard, and he's off shore til wed).  A babysitter for the kids, and dinner and a movie. Oh, and flowers.  I've been married for 5 1/5 years, and he's gotten me flowers once.  Not even for giving birth.

    Neither DH or I are romantic. I just love sitting on the couch with him, watching a movie, no phones or anything.

    This Valentines Day I get a u/s so that's my gift. Lol.

    A romantic day? Hmmm It would probably start with waking up and talking/cuddling in bed. Then showering together. Doesn't have to be sexual. It's just nice. Then maybe doing some kind of outing where we accomplish something. Maybe outdoors, but not super physical. I'm not imaginative. Then skip to evening, cooking something new together and enjoying it on our back porch at sunset (not happening at this time of year in PA). This is so lame, but maybe a board game.  Then sexy time.

    This is the first thing that has popped into my head...and as you'll see, I'm in desperate need of some pampering!

    I'd love for DH to call my boss and ask for me to have the day off. Then he will pick me up from work, take me home to pack an overnight bag, and then take me out to our favorite B&B at our favorite beach for the night. We would just walk around the beach, sit on the sun deck and read, give each other massages, soak in the jacuzzi in our room (in this daydream, hot baths are ok), and go out to a nice dinner (also in this daydream, medium rare steak and champagne are ok). Then we would repeat this the next day, and then come home, relaxed and back to the real world.

    with out knowing beforehand, DH actually did this for me when we first started dating.  I grew up far away from the ocean.

    My perfect day was a picnic on Huntington Beach (could have been any beach really).  We hung out all day, did food over a fire and sparkling cider as we were underage, then saw a movie in the evening when it got too cold.

    neither DH or I are very romantic so I can't think of a whole day even :(

    Mine would be coming home from work to candles lit everywhere and a nice warm bubble bath ready for me. With music playing and then DH can either get in the tub with me or just sit with me while we talk about nothing work or stress related. Just enjoying each other
