What are LO school hours

When DS starts kindergarten he will go from 9-3:30. Just wondering what hours LO is in school.

DD is in 1st grade but in K the hours were the same. 7:45-2:45...

I do car line for the mornings because our bus comes at 6:20am (IMO way to early)

DD takes the bus home and gets in around 3:40 or so.

When my kids were in K, it was 8:30 (doors open at 8:20, but you don't need to be your seat until 8:30) -11:00

1st and 2nd grade: 8:30 - 2:40 (1 hour for lunch)

3rd - 5th grade: 8:45 - 2:55 (1 hour lunch)

The 3rd+ grades are later b/c it is a different school and some parents have multiple dropoffs.

Middle school starts earlier - - but I don't know the times, I haven't gotten there yet!

My school is 7:25-2:30 this year.

Next year we're moving to 8:20-3:15

It's 7:40-2:45. Too early IMO. I'm surprised that another poster has a start time of 7:25!!

My first grader is 8:40 to 3:10. K was the same.

His school is K-8 and class time is from 8:30am-3:50pm. It's a longer day compared to most but he gets two 40 minute specials every day (art/music or gym/Spanish depending on the day) and they get time to do things and be kids rather than having to rush through everything like a lot of my friend's kids seem to be dealing with at their schools.

School is 8:20-3:40, but he rides the bus home and usually doesn't get home until 4:20.

DS is in K this year and his hrs are 8:30 - 2:30. Next year, it'll be 8:15 - 3:00.

DS's elementary school: 9:05 - 3:05

Our driveway is the first bus stop. He gets on at 8:00 a.m., and gets off at 3:15.

8:35-3:25

The bus comes between 8:25-8:27, and she's dropped off at 3:40. She's the last stop in the morning and the first stop in the afternoon.

We are considered a late start school in my district and our school (K-6) goes from 9:30 to 4pm. Before school program is open at 6:45 and after school program closes at 6pm. The PreK program which is in the same building has the hours of 6:45 to 6pm and they want kids there during the core school hours and the others are used as before/after care. My older DD will be in full day kindy and will also do the before/after care - she will get dropped off at around 7am and picked up between 4 and 5. Her little sister will be at the PreK program and will have the same hours. Its a long day but my kids have been doing those same basic hours since they started daycare as infants.

In K our district does a 3/4 day. She went from 8:10-12:57.

Now she goes from 8:10-1:57 in 2nd grade.

Our school is preK-6th.
K-6th has the same hours 8:15 to 3:15

Pre -Ks only go M-Th and only half a day approx 8:30-11:45-ish or 12-3-ish. The moring kids can come as early as 7:45 for breakfast if they are coming with older siblings and afternnoon kids are kept until 3:15 is they have older siblings that are being picked up at that time. other wise, parents can drop off and pick up when the pre-ks start and finish or they ride the pre-k bus to and from.

Jr high and High school are 7:25-3:25

Actually, all the schools in the district have various start and end times to aid in scheduling busses. Older gets get out earlier in case they need to watch younger siblings, etc but the amount of hours is the same all acros the county.
