What will your LO call their grandparents??
My MIL will be Nanny (pronounced Nonnie) but my mother has not really decided... it's her first grandchild. I don't think she sees herself as a Grandma, Gram, or Nana...
I called my grandmother "Gaga"-- but don't want to repeat that with my mom.
Any other ideas?

My husbands parents will be Grandma and Papaw. (what they call themselves already with our dog)
My mom and step dad will be Nana and Poppy
and My dad and step mom will be NeeNee and Papaw.
I just let them all choose. My step mom is really young and felt grandma or a variation of that wouldn't suit her since she's only 30 but she still wanted a special name for the babies to call her other then Melanie. Both mine and Dh's dads wanted Papaw because thats what we called their dads growing up. They live two hours apart so they won't be around each other very often.

DH's parents will be grandma and granddad (aka bear dad) because its what my nephew already calls them.
My dad will be pop - like he called his grandfather. I'm not sure about my mum... I could offer her nana like we called her mum, but I suspect that may be too upsetting for her. Dad's mum will probably also be grandma... She already complains about feeling old - so putting a great in front of her title, or making reference to it - will cause an increase in the number of complaints which noone wants to deal with.
My parents (with 6 grandchildren already) are Grandpa and Mam-mo (my first niece couldn't say grandma and this is what stuck, I've overheard other kids calling grandparents this too).
DH's parents (this is the first grandchild) want to be Mimi and Papa.
My maternal grandparents were Mom-moms (I've heard other people use this too) and Pop-po.
my first neice got to "name" my parents. They were supposed to Nana and Grandpa, but, she couldn't get the Grandpa down, so, they are Nana and Pawpaw. Her other grandfather is Papa, but there is a distinct difference in Pawpaw and Papa. I think it's cute that she named him something more convenient! Now all the other Gkids call him the same thing.
Also, with my Nana (her great grandmother), we were trying to come up with something like "Grandnana" or whatever and she decided that her name would be "Mama's Nana..." and it stuck. So, my Nana is "Mama's Nana" forever. I guess it makes sense to her!
MHs mom will be Nana and his grandparents will be Nanita and Tatita (he calls his grandparents Nana and Tata)
My mom will be gramma and dad will be granpa. My grandparents will be known to my kids as they are known to me, Mama Yeya & Papa Lino. Also, my aunt (mom's only sister) who I've always been extremely close to has never had kids and considers me and my sister her only children
So since she will never really get grandchildren Ive told her my kids will call her Aunty Grams. This made her get teary eyed.
