Implanon

I know I've posted a few too many birth control posts.. but I finally decided to get Implanon. I had it narrowed down to either Implanon or Mirena and after talking with my doctor, decided that Implanon probably has less side effects/risks than the Mirena. I was previously on the Depo shot before I got pregnant but it was horrible for me and I wouldn't go back..

For those of you who've had Implanon, did you like it? & what side effects (if any) did you experience?

    I cant speak for her but I hated depo- weight gain, dr's office every 3 months.. Inplanon is a matchstick in the arm that lasts 3 years.. same effects as depo, less needles
    I also had weight gain with it. About 20 lbs. It also gave my mom a lot of problems and I don't want to risk it!
