UPDATE: I posted my update below and it posted like 26 times! Eeeek!

Hi ladies. I haven't posted over here before, but was wondering if anyone could offer any advice (if anyone is even around). I'm 12 dpo and have been taking Crinone for the first time since 3 dpo. I tested this morning and got a BFN, and then started spotting a little bit ago. There are a few spots on my pantyliner and there is red on the tp when I wipe. I debating whether I should take the progesterone again tonight just in case, or if this a clear enough sign that AF is here and there's no reason to take any more progesterone?

Also, I thought people don't typically get AF until after stopping progesterone? Am I not taking enough?

I think I would wait until a BFN at 14 dpo (on a sensitive test like FRER) before starting progesterone. Spotting is likely a sign AF is on the way, but lots of women spot in early pregnancy too so you never know.
And I'd definitely tell your doctor you were spotting, etc. through the progesterone so he/she has info to use to evaluate your dose.

For me, progesterone delayed my period, but it does not do that for everyone.
My RE never did Betas after IUIs. He told me to take an HPT at 14dpo and then stop progesterone if negative. I would wait until 14dpo.

Single Mother by Choice. Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own. Thanks ladies. I did take the progesterone last night, and today AF is here for real. I did take an HPT just to sure.

I'll be calling the doctor on Monday to talk about dosage.

Definitely wait until at least 16dpo to stop the progesterone. I had BFN at 10dpo, implantation spotting at 12dpo and BFP at 14dpo. I know women that didn't get a BFP until 16dpo. Depending on the strength of the prog, it might not delay AF. You should ask your doctor that.

Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
