I EBF so I'm not sure exactly how much to leave. DH & I are going to try a date night next week. I have some frozen milk that I've pumped but have no clue what to do...He currently weighs just over 16lb and eats every 2- 2 1/2 hours, not sure if that matters.

Re: How many oz in a bottle for a 4m old?
I formula feed and my LO is at 5oz now. Weighs 13.11 oz. not sure how that is for BF
Our DD is a bit older but about same size. We usually leave a 30z bottle for each feeding though I've just started upping to 3.5 but lots of babies on here seem to take 4-5oz. There are some guidelines on kellymom.com that you can type in weight and # of feedings your LO has and it gives you a range.
I opt for leaving more small bottles than just one larger one. I also have some frozen so if my parents or sitter were desperate they could always defrost more. But so far
I do bottles in 3 1/2 - 4 oz for my LO. But she is almost 6 months but probably right around 16 lbs. She only eats 5-6x a day though, every 3 or so hours during the day.
I would say figure out how many times your son will eat while he is away and make a 4 oz bottle for each feeding. Leave that much thawed milk. If babysitters are coming to your home (highly recommended!) then they at least have access to more milk if they need it.
