I had my long-awaited NT scan today! Everything looked great (measurement was just under 1mm). Of course, I need to wait for blood work to come back for full results, but I was just thrilled to hear the heartbeat again and see the little one wiggling around.
I'm pretty sure this picture contains images of what will eventually be girl or boy bits, but I have to admit, for all I know it's part of a leg. Anyone want to guess the gender? I'm 11weeks, 5 days. I know this is an imprecise method and I'm probably too early, but just for fun!
Re: For fun- anyone want to guess the "angle of the dangle"? (NT Scan)
Wasn't successful with the picture the first time, but this should work!
I'm guessing girl.
Edit: I changed my guess.

I see it now. I'm guessing boy too. I should post my pic. My LO's nub is a little
flatter. I think our LO looks like a girl.
Based on this website and that it sort of looks to be pointing down pretty far, I would say girl.

I was thinking it was the opposite (that boys pointed down). So, I change my answer. I think girl too.

I think that's definitely genitalia, not a leg. I'm not sure I understand where the girl guesses are coming from. Based on the Baby2See link everyone posts (and what my own u/s tech told me), I think this pretty clearly is not a girl (the dangle is not close to parallel), but upon a more detailed analysis, it's in that grey zone where you can't really guess.
The study guidelines are that if the angle is greater than 30 it's a boy guess and if it's less than 10 it's a girl guess. Your baby's angle is somewhere between 20-25 degrees. That would put it more in the boy camp than the girl, but according to the study (https://www.baby2see.com/gender/study_ultrasound.html) they would have excluded you as a data point because the angle is between 10 and 30.

Thanks everyone! So fun to read the responses. I've a "boy" feeling since the start (very scientific, I know)- probably because boys run on DH's side (he is one of three brothers, and between his two brothers there are four nephews and one niece). I would, however, be thrilled with a little girl!
I'll keep everyone updated, and see can see who was right...
