I'd tell him that he can't have the ring back because you spent it on a deluxe vibrator and then say, "I figured I was owed at least some pleasure from having dealt with you for so many years."

MrsAJL- you are so not "that mom." Her face looks like it hurts! I'm so glad she isn't bothered, but I would be in there stat as well!
FCB- I know that feeling of being burned out with school. Just think, the end is in sight! And then you will have so much free time!
AustinAggie- I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure it doesn't get much easier.
Nessia- your ex is an even bigger asshat than I thought. Why would you nitpick money when you are talking about your children and their needs? And why wouldn't you want to spend more time with them. He reminds me of my dad. Also, ditto pp- any agreement you have with his mother is between you and her, he can staythefuckoutofit. And lastly, that ring is yours, sister.
SLB- I had no idea you had all that going on. I'm so sorry you are feeling so sad and that your husband is sucking with money and empathy. I hope he comes to his senses and gets back on track. And ditto Nessia, if the meds you are on aren't working, try something else!
And lastly, LLCG- I'm sure that does suck. Although I've always had light periods, I envy the idea of a 2 year hiatus. Especially now that I've been bleeding/spotting for over 2 weeks. I'm over it already.
So I guess that's my vent. I'm trying to get over this mc, but weekly blood draws and continued bleeding sucksass a lot. At least I didn't cry when I had to tell the registration girl that I lost the baby (when I went for bloodwork) and I didn't start crying hysterically like a mad woman when I had the blood drawn (like I did last week- scaring the bejesus out of the poor phlebotamist.)
giant hugs for some sucktastic days... and a big fat f-u world on everyone's behalf.
Nessia-- keep the ring it's yours! You gave birth to two children and put up with his ass it's the least you should get from him.

Ladies, I just want to give you all hugs. I am wishing you strength to tell all the people/stuff in your life " that" when needed.
Feel free to use the Homer Simpson as appropriate:
Like, you want the ring back? Homer Simpson.
Nausea + period? Homer Simpson.
Scheduling around some ass clown and/or paying for a house you're not living in? Hell no + Homer Simpson.
Doctors think you're coming in to the office too much with your sweet baby? Homer Simpson.
Try it, you'll like it.
I think this sums up everything nicely! Oh and lots of hugs for SareBear and AustinAggie!!

My vent pales in comparison to everyone else's, but it just royally sucked. First my projector bit it--which really sucks when you are introducing a new unit to most of your classes and there really isn't an alternative to show them about the topic. Then, our server at school went down, so my 8th period class could neither take their on-line test today or be shown the powerpoint for the next lesson. Thankfully, another teacher let me use his projector so I could accomplish something 8th period. If it had happened any other day this week, it would not have been such a big deal.
