I posted this on the TTC board and I got so many sarcastic responses and was told to post here.. I dont think it belongs here but here goes.. ..
"So I miscarried on Dec 1.. got AF on Jan 9th and lasted heavy for a week. was suppose to start on Feb 6th (my daughters bday) and still havent. Been somewhat checking CM and not really consistent.. some days dry, some days creamy.. but no signs of ovulation. Is it still to early to be back on track with a normal cycle or could I be pregnant again so quick?? Any feedback would be great.. Thanks!"
I am just basically wondering if cycle is still haywire due to miscarriage or if its possible a BFP could be in the mix..
Re: help?? and a little venting goin on..
Um, did you POAS yet?
ETA: Yes, it is entirely possible for you to be pregnant if you are having unprotected sex. However, without charting, you don't know if you have ovulated yet. So, POAS until AF comes, or you get a BFP. We don't know if you're pregnant. We're internet strangers, not your doctor.

Have you been having unprotected sex? If not then it is just your cycle. Most people do not have a typical period for at least one cycle if not several.
If there is a chance you are pg then buy a test today.

I don't blame the lovely ladies at TTCAL for telling you what's what. You walked into a group of grieving women and asked if you could be pregnant. So rude. And then you DD'd? Unnecessary.
To answer your question, yes, if you had unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. Go take a test and find out.

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss.
That being said, bashing the TTCAL board will not go over well here. Most of us started out over there and are very protective of the ladies who are there.
To answer your question: cycles after a m/c can continue to be off for awhile. Charting can help you feel more in control and will also help you interpret whether AF is actually late. My first cycle after my m/c was shorter than normal, the second one was about normal, and the third one was 2 weeks longer than normal. Knowing when I ovulated saved me a lot of stress, and when I stopped charting and then had a wonky cycle, I was really anxious and confused.
Taking an HPT is the first step. Of course you *could* be pregnant if you had unprotected sex. It could really go either way. But we can't tell you if you are or aren't, or if your cycles are normal or not. I know it is hard to not know what is going on with your body, but you have to understand that no one here can really give you an answer and it is frustrating to see these types of questions on a TTC board, especially when you haven't even taken a test yet.
Good luck!
