molly bears (ticker warning)

I don't usually post on this board, but I thought you all might like this. One of my very good friends has had 2 late term losses withing a year. One at 23w4d and the other at 24w3d. She came across this website and actually just received her Molly Bears. The bears are created to be the same weight as your child. There is a wait list, but I guess you can move up if someone sponsors you.

I can't imagine what you all are going through, but I wanted to share this with you, because I know it is helping our friends.

    I just put my request in on December 30th then I donated and my name went into a drawing and I won my bear. I spoke to Bridget Crews the founder and she is an amazing woman. I am waiting for my Sydney bear to come home to us. I'm so excited. My donation was $10.
    DS- Brenden born 11/13/93 Missed miscarriage on March 6, 2007 @ 9 weeks D&C on March 8th 2007. Riley Annalise born 2/25/08 ( 3 weeks early weighing 8 lbs 12.8 oz.) Chemical pregnancy 3/2010. Sydney Adriana born sleeping on 9/30/11 weighing 10lbs 3 oz at 38wks 4 days. Trinity Alivia born via c section at 36 wks 4 days weighing 9 lbs. 5.7 oz. She is our amazing rainbow baby!!!     Thank you for the info.  I had heard about this through my HEAL group, but that was over a year ago.  Now that I'm expecting again, I am saddened even more that Logan won't be there for pictures with his little sister.  I think having one of these bears might help!  I can include the bear in some of the pictures.

    She opens up the waiting list on the 30th (I guess this month would be earlier) of every month.  She also does donation drawings.  For a $90 donation, you automatically get your bear made and they make one for someone on the waiting list.  I think they had 22 of those this month.  OR any donation over $5 contributes to a pot.  When that reaches $150, they draw one name of the people who donated and that person's bear is made.  There were about 20 of those ($150 pot) available this month.
