Nursing tanks

I went through my stash of clothes the other day and realize I can't fit in any of the nursing tanks I have. Recommend the brand you like the best. Has anyone bought any from Old Navy? I have a gift card from Christmas, so I may purchase some from them.

Re: Nursing tanks

  • I have 3 of these from Target (Gilligan & OMalley side-sling nursing tanks). I still wear them even though I'm not nursing anymore because they're nice and long! And for reference, I think I was around a 40 F (estimate) when my milk came in and the tanks were supportive.

  • I really liked the Bravado one that I had.  I got it at the Parent Connection store inside GBMC.  I ended up mostly pumping and bottle feeding, so I didn't end up needing to buy more.

  • I actually have those Target Nursing tanks, so maybe I'll just go some more. I'll save my gift card for something else.

Yeah-the target tanks had the nice easy straps that just snap on and off, but not the ON. The ON tank had straps that had to be threaded onto a metal hook.....think of a bra that converts to a strapless bra, those kind of straps.....total PITA.

  • also - total random, but I was looking at bras at Target last week and picked up 3 or 4 really cute stylish bras before realizing they were nursing bras!  I don't recall there being a lot of cute nursing bras!

  • I bought 3 from Target and I loved them (when I used them)  I wore them all the time bumming around my house.  I think they are the ones that SK had.

  • Another fan of the Target brand, though I do have a motherhood one that I got at Macy's that I love.  It's the same type of strap snaps as the Target brand, but a bit thinner fabric and a bit longer.

  • Another rec for Target tanks.  I know over the weekend they were on sale.  Watch the ads because you can get a really good deal on them.

And ditto Kathryn on the bras.  They have some cute polka dot and animal print nursing bras that you can get for pretty cheap.

  • Another req for the Target brand. But also I LOVED the bravado ones I got from A La Mode. They were so comfy and long. I've actually worn them a few times recently. They obviously were on the pricier side, but worth it cause I lived in them the first month or two that I was home. I've seen them a few times on mamabargains or babysteals at about half the price.

  • I had a couple from Target as well, but my favorites weer actually from WalMart. Much cheaper and just easier for me. I think it was something like $13 for a two pack.

I am no where near a 30F (a 34D to be exact lol) but I love these tanks too! Also, Target has some long ribbed tanks that are fantastic as well. You can easily slip it off the shoulder to nurse.
