the only cent we spend on prenatal care and delivery was for a sonogram at the hospital we delivered at. it cost me $100 the morning I delivered noel because my insurance said since my dr has sono equip in his office no need for the hospital one...um, yeah palcental tear...6 weeks early...you'd think they would see that as necessary. although compared to all of you - $100 for three healthy babies = nothing!
all three vaginal deliveries. one preemie at 34 weeks which required extended care at hospital for a week and still not a penny

It was about $2000 per kiddo, I think. It felt like we got a lot of seperate bills and once I added them up after insurance paid it was about that much.
$20 initial copay for them both. Nothing after that - dr visits, ultrasounds, bloodwork, hospital stay etc. Even extra genetic counseling when DD's quad screen came back high for Downs Syndrome.
$100 more towards our deductible for DS's circ, since that was an elective procedure.
$7K for the first (c section) and $3K for the second. Hopefully when DH finds a new job (he's finishing his PhD in a few months and on the market) we'll have better coverage than we have had in the past.
$250 for both. Basically my deductible since I never go to the doctors other than during my pregnancy and my copay's were waived because I work for an affiliate hospital.
The prenatal care was 100% covered and so were the csec deliveries (3) and tubal. I think I paid $11 each time for cable. Thankfully, we have good insurance.
For both boys, I only had to pay the bill for the private room. ins. didn't cover that. I had my babies when it was a bargain still. our contract changed about 4 years ago and I'd now be paying 20% now.
$5 for each that included all prenatal, high risk drs, many ultrasounds and nsts, bed rest with all three, 3 csections and a tubal, and 10 days of nicu time for 2 of the 3 babies, and 2 circumscions
Re: How much did you pay out of pocket to have your DC?
nothing. not even a copay for drs visits.

Liam is 5!
My first was free. All doctor's visits, ultrasounds, NT scans, delivery... everything since I worked at the hospital.
The second, I had to pay $30 copays for every visit plus around $3000 for delivery that only lasted an hour and I never got a damn epidural.

Mum to Owen and Lucas
DD1, induction and C-section, $600
DD2, induction and emergency C-section, $2200
Different insurance plus I was in the hospital longer for DD2, and the procedure itself was more expensive.
And, OMG. Babies really cost that much to have???
Both were planned C-sections. Different hospitals.
DS was around $700 if I remember correctly.
It's hard to say with DD, I swear they sent me 10 different bills but I'd say probably $1200.
