The Bump on Kindle Question

So my DH got me a Kindle Fire for Christmas and it is my first tablet. I do not have the regular Kindle, nor do I have an iPad or any of the sorts. My only problem with it is when I log onto TheBump, I can read posts, but I can not write new posts or comment on anything. I thought it was just something that I just wasn't going to be able to do, which really bummed me out. Even on my phone, I have the same issue (Samsung Galaxy). Anyway, I noticed a birth story was just posted by FloridaMom224 in which she said she was actually posting from her Kindle. What am I doing wrong?????

I don't have an answer, but I have the same electronics and same problem!! I have the Kindle Fire and Samsung Galazy and I can read posts, but I only can comment from my laptop. So, at least I can say, you are not alone!

When you are on certain sites, you need to disable Java to post. When you get to the bump website, tap the icon at the bottom that looks like a page with writing (next to your bookmark ribbon). Then go to settings and scroll down to "enable Java" uncheck the box. Now you can freely post and respond from your fire!!

I think it has something to do with adobe flash or something like that. I was having the same problem on my color nook and my husband how to do an upgrade and download something so now it works fine. If you aren't tech savvy, I would call the company and just ask them, it was a pretty quick fix but my husband works in tech so it was easy for him to identify the problem and fix it. Good luck!

Cool! I didn't know about that. I post from my kindle but when I get to the message reply box I just hot the "html" button and type in there.

The only part that sux right now is you have to turn java back on to see anything on FB or other sites. They are supposed to be doing an upgrade for it soon!
