Sleeping arrangements while sick

My husband has a cold. Our DS is 3weeks old.  Currently, the baby is sleeping in our room. Would you make DH sleep in another room?

    I would kick him to the couch because his snoring can get out of control with a cold.

    I wouldn't kick him out unless the snoring is making sleeping more difficult. That said, I have a cold and while the coughing is keeping me awake, it doesn't seem to bother DH or DS - and I wouldn't sleep on the couch anyways. I'm paranoid DS is going to get sick but the nurse was reassuring that he's getting my antibodies through bfing.
