So I watch a 14 mo old boy, 2 days a week. His poos are RANK, foul, disgusting. I toyed w/ the idea of putting him in cloth (his mom said it would be fine) but his poops are SO NASTY I can't bring myself to do it.
He drinks cow's milk & eats table food. Eloise only drinks BM and eats some table food and still some purees- very little dairy or meat at this point and mainly organic. E's poops are like little turds, if I am not careful they will fall out and bounce onto the floor. I am not saying they don't stink but they are mainly "ploppable" now and I would say I only have to use the sprayer for her every other day or so?
His poops are always super soft and so messy and disgusting- like constant PB poo.
Why the difference? is it the cow's milk?
If so E is not getting cow's milk until she is PT'd!
Re: Poop ? for you all re: BM vs. cow's milk
This is going to be gross, but it's the best analogy I've got for you -
What would your bm look like if you pooped in a diaper and sat down and smooshed it?
Ds are most "plopable" when he's constapated, but soft and plopable when he's had a well rounded diet. They are soft and mushy & need scraped when he's teething, doesn't feel well, or has eaten more crap then usual.
Compared to bm poos, an all table food diet poo does stink regardless. The difference seems to be in how quickly the smell dissapates.
