Flashlight test= feeling baby kick (or punch!)

So I read you can put the flashlight on your belly and the baby will move away from the light. Well, last night my husbands flashlight was on the table and I could resist. So I put on my lower belly and BAM! He/she kicked the crap out of me! It was soooo awesome! I was so excited! So I had a doctors appointment today and we were listening to the dopplar and he was just a moving and kicking. Doc says I have a "very active little one in there!" which is music to my ears!!

I have heard this also being used in labor to get baby to move down the birth canal.

where is my flashlight?! Sounds like something I should know...in case of a power outage... Guess that makes me mom of the year.

I've felt flutters but this was the first time I felt a KICK!! Its definitely different!

How I wish I was home where I actually have a flashlight... my phone lights up but I doubt that bright... something to try when I get back .
