I am sure there is a post regarding this somewhere, but I am going to ask anyhow

:-)

I am planning a baby shower for a great friend and am looking for a good photographer. I would want them to photograph the party, but also be great with newborns because I will be wanting to get a gift certificate for newborn images for my friend too. Thanks in advance for the recommendations, there are so many photographers out there that I cannot narrow it down alone.

I have used Amy Lingenfelder. I did not use her for newborns, but I know she does them.

Ditto Amy Ling Photography- We used her for newborns and even more! I believe she does photos for parties, so, she would be a great fit!

I have also worked with Courtney Anton Photography. I really thought our pictures turned out well and I think her prices are reasonable. It is really nice what you are doing for your friend.

We also used Twiddle Dee, but I'm not sure she'd be willing to do the shower. She does pretty strictly newborn photos. That said, we LOVED the photos she took for us.
