stools and leaking

I am 31 weeks and have had very loose stools for the past few days. I go #2 about 2-4 times a day. I also have been leaking a clear watery fluid, which I had checked and the Dr. said it was just mucus....but it's enough to fill 2 panty liners a day and I've had this for about 4 days. I'm not sure what's going on, the Dr. says I'm fine, but I have this feeling something isn't "okay"....anyone have related stories or know what's really going on???? Thanks!

    If your gut is telling you something is wrong, go to L&D. They can monitor you and check to make sure you aren't leaking fluid. At 31weeks you don't want to take the chance. If its nothing, then at least you'll have piece of mind.

    You may just be one of the "lucky" ones with a good amount of normal discharge.  Filling 2 pantyliners in a day doesn't sound too worrisome to me.  If you're filling them within a few hours, I'd be concerned.  As for the loose stools, you may just be sick.  Keep drinking fluids and monitoring how you're doing.  Obviously, if you start getting contractions, let your OB know.

    I agree with PP on the "GUT FEELING" thing. Different issue for me but went to the docs and said I was feeling crampy. The next week I said I still felt crampy, my back hurt and felt nauseas. I insisted I didn't feel right. She checked my urine and it was a UTI. Long story short If something doesn't sit right be persistant about it. :-) Hope you get rid of the loose stools.

    Yup, "gut feeling" was it! He was born yesterday ! Craziness :) He's doing very well though for 32 weeks.. Thanks for you're responses everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
